Well, the list isn't really in any pre-determined order. It was more a matter of how (un)organized my bookmarks are. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'm looking at the list with amazement and a mixed feeling of excitement and lost; amazing and exciting because almost 4 years have past since the release of SoA, this game seems still very popular and the modding community has been growing and growing. People just stay with this game, and new gamers seem still come in.
kinda lost because I reckon there're people like me, hanging with this game, and cannot find another post-SoA/ToB RPG appealing enough to shift our focus. and so, very often a new mod would be more exciting than a new game. I'm a single-player gamer and maybe that's one more reason that I'm still playing SoA/ToB as now most games go after the online gaming market. I've completed NWN's offocial compaign (almost twice actually), but lost interest in a hurry. IceWind Dale 2 is fun, but I've never been into the game as much as into SoA. This leads me to that feeling of lost -- SoA might be the last great single-player RPG for my kind of gamer

It's not an unprecedented gap. For me, my favorite RPG "of all time" before SOA came along was Wasteland... published more than 10 years prior to SOA.
