Tactics, ease of use, and all other MODS!!

Ok i havent played in like a yr so this morinign i decided to start up again n re-install everything and I figured that when i would re-install it all the MOD's i had would no be installed, becuase im not good enough to play with them anymore. Neways they are still there n i delted them all and i can't find them in my registery to delete the line and i cant uninstall them beucase it says they are not even installed, but i assue u they are there, everytime i try to sleep in irenicus's castle i get shadow thiefed, i cant deal with it!! Does anybody kno how i can get ride of these MODs once and for all!?

you could try installing them again then removing them one by one. But i would wait to see if there is someone with a better answer, particulalry as this would be time consuming and i could not guarentee it would work.

You could try re-installing the game, then adding the mods you want back in.

i tried reinstallign the game over and over....and i deleted all the mods from my computer n emptied my recycle bin...im screwed i guess i jsut wont play nemore....thnx though

I seriously doubt that mods make it into your Windows registry.

Are you sure you're installing into a completely empty directory? If you are, there is no way that mods can survive through different installations.

Double-check, or install to a completely different directory to make 100% sure. And you can always download Dungeon-Be-Gone to skip Irenicus' dungeon entirely if this doesn't get fixed, for some bizarre reason.

Aren't Shadow Thieves default spawns in the dungeon anyway? I thought Tactics added bands of Duergar, or are you using an older version?

If you uninstall Bg2, then delete the black isle folder, I'm rather certain that gets rid of every single mod you have. Also, you could try to download all those mods again, reinstall them, then uninstall them. Your version of tactics is old as well, now duergar attack you when you rest.

yea it is from 2003...When i first installed the MOD's i was told to install them into my BG2 folder, but the thing is I had a full install on my computer for BG2 and TOB meaning even after i deleted the game my folder with all my saved files was still there...I am gonna go back uninstall the game and delete the line from my registery, the problem is i allready deleted all the folders containing the MOD's...well ill give this one last shot
