Hi!
I just started playing IWD, and I've ordered the expansion. I just wonder if I will ruin the experience by starting playing without HoW, is there any major gameplay changes? I'll install it as soon as I get it, but will have gotten a bit in the game at that point and I don't want to miss anything. Hope that made sense.

Go ahead and install it, it changes some things for the better even for IWD. You can start the expansion anytime you want from Kuldahar

The expansion really does not make a difference to the game until you reach about level 4, then make sure you have it installed as the added spells and abilities can be helpful.
