Spoilers For The Trollbark Ahead...

I am not joking, this is a spoiler thread. If you don't want to know about this, then don't read anything past this line.

.....

Seriously now, if you take a look past the dotted lines, I refuse to be at fault if you find something disappointing, disturbing, or just plain sad within this thread.

.....

Okay, I guess you actually want to know what I am going to say. Well, I am not going to say it just yet. Why is that? Simply put, I am giving the curious one last chance to turn their lives around and go back to not knowing one little glitch in my masterplan to rule the Trollbark Forest with a svelte thief/fighter/assassin named Bloodrayne II.

.....

Right then, since you want to know, you will get to find out in a few moments. Just have to go back to the gaming screen to see what just happened.

.....

If you try to go into the chests that Grueleaf Teabom has beside him inside of the Trollbark BEFORE talking to him, he will call you a thief and try to assail you. Sure, with forty levels of good-looking artful dodger to work with he did not hit me much, but it is enough to make you think about what would happen if you attempted to pickpocket that elf in the bottom of Level Twelve...

Ah. It was Halaster after all.

I've never had that reaction and thought it might be 'cos Mozenwrathe was playing an evil character.

New Hakpak! Feline upgrades!! What next!!!

I should try it out again now that I know Halaster was behind it. I honestly thought it was a trigger based on taking the items from the chest prematurely. I find it amusing that shield can only be used by dwarves, so why not give it a little extra beef? means that more characters will be venturing into the Trollbark Forest and assisting (or robbing) the elven avenger there.

Notes on Grueleaf though:
- needs more powerful arrows. not necessarily Arrows of Harm (like Duru from the Drow Proving Grounds), but something equally worrisome. maybe arrows +17 with one in twenty chance for ice storm?
- might need a good hand-to-hand combat weapon if you can actually fight him (and get chased off). maybe a duplicate of the sword Teri-Sha on Level Ten possesses but with a more "nature-minded" bent?
- needs to give out more loot at completion of quest. (that is just me being greedy though.)

I have to admit being attacked by Grueleaf threw me for a loop, though.
