I've updated--because I don't think they changed anything MAJOR that will break my hakpaks. But check out stuff and let me know if you see anything weird.

Especially cloaks.. (They messed with those)

apparently the new cloaks are REALLY nice and customisable ingame via the armour customization screen.

As soon as I get my new PC I will check it out.

I knew the patch was going to eff up the CEP cloaks.

Yep, I have released a flashpatch (updated the patch2.hak) so if you want a fix for it, re-download the patch. it's 72mb.

The new system works like this: You take a cloak icon and put it on, and it will give you a cloak model automatically. So if you wanna look normal, remove the cloak. (until I can update the cloaks in the stores)

Working on this now. See my new post on cloaks.

The new cloaks: There are 14 new appearance types for cloaks in your inventory slot. These replace the old models, and will actually show on your character. You can dye them just as you can helmets and armor, and the cloaks will hide wings and tails on characters. Old cloaks are automatically updated.
With CEP, the old cloak appearances are enforced and those are not set to be dyeable, nor modifiable. As a result all 6 colours are always the 0 colour, that is, a pale brown. The cloak icon determines the type of cloak that appears on the character. CEP icons don't correspond to any visible cloaks and will therefore not appear on the character.
The cloaks cause some minor clipping of arms and legs when running, cut through the old robe and neck cloaks, and some types of armor belt.
Taking your cloak off removes it from your back, obviously.

The game would not let me play till I had updated to v1.68 so update I did, the following are some problems (or changes)I have noticed since.

Durnan and some NPC's in the yawning portal are ‘red’ ( I assume the ones with new cloaks) though I can still sleep near them, this means of course that you can not converse with Durnan. Also the gem shop on level 3 is sometimes red sometimes blue!!! Thinking it was just a minor glitch I let the server reset a couple of times and even tried a old character, same problem!

Also

Drow leaders ring quest on level 2, cloak in chest comes up as “1935343616” as a description.

Nessat the drow (loki quest) no longer drops a sword (level 2)

No Xanther thieves guild protecting the wagon full of gems (level 3 south)

THEN .. I did the 72mb patch2 update as Ziroc requested and the Durnan/NPC "red" issue at least has gone away. The others still have to be rechecked. Anyhow I strongly suggest you update now

Nessat no longer drops a +8 sword. Had to remove that, because it was a game balancing issue. (It IS level 2 ya know)

The xanather spawn may have not triggered because of lag or you not having the same version of patch maybe.. triggers not activating does happen, its just NWN's engine. (yey)

Let me know if you find any more patch issues!!

And Thanks! It helps a lot!

Some of the Drow cloaks claim to be 'green' but are beige... don't know if that's a real problem, but I noticed it today when selling things to Durnan.

Aww... drat.. I kinda like that +8 sword! *teehee* Umm.. we can keep the ones we have...right?
