Wow, just finished the first book of the trilogy and am delving into the next one. I have to say this is one of the best books I've read by R. A. Salvatore. I always thought Drizzt was cool in BG2 and wanted him to join my party. Now, I am getting to know more what he's about. What interesting reading! I know that I will now replay BG2 and TOB after I finish playing Gothic.

Hehe! Indeed! Have you read the Icewind dale trilogy? If not you have more exciting reading ahead of you, and the Legacy of the drow as well!

They are all rather good IMHO, and afterwards, you do want Drizzt to join up in your party! Hehe

But Darkelf trilogy is the best IMHO.

Yes, I have read Icewind Dale trilogy, but agree that Dark Elf is the best so far. I have Legacy of the Drow waiting on my bookshelf for me to read next.

Ahh, then you have more fun reading ahead of you! Please tell me what you think of the legacy of the drow when you are finished. It would be fun to compare our thoughts there.

Have you or anyone here read the Demon awakens and the rest of the demon books? I found them pretty booring after one and a half book. Felt like I knew what was going to happen all along and not nearlt as enticing as the books about Drizzt..

I too have just begun reading the Dark Elf Trilogy, WOW haven't read anything this good in a while. I am still trying to get hold of some of the other R.A Salvatore books though (Especially one's concerning Drizzt).

He should bring some more long term characters into the book.
