The Cat in the Hat

I watched this e days ago, and i have to say... it sucked. It reeked, it blew, it stunk it was awful, etc etc. Myers seems to have one personality track-that of a complete and utter moron. His role in austin powers and other movies is so far ahead of this one that I wonder why he stooped so low!

The adult jokes are NOT welcome, as kids will no doubt ask their mothers "Mom, what's a dirty hoe and why did the cat kiss it?". In fact ALL the jokes were painfully unfunny, with exception of the "Chinease parliment",with the fat babysitter yelling at the tv showing a renegade minister using karate to beat the hell out of the ministers all the while the babysitter screaming "No more big government!" (I can't make this up folks), and the guy hitting on the kids mom.

On the plus side, the acting was, for the most part well done, and kudos must be handed to the children for their impressive facial and emotional conveyance. The set design was well done, and the rare times that Mr. Myers sees fit to insult the movie itself are funny to say the least.

Yeah I see what you mean. The film was lower than the books. You gotta hand it to him, though: Dr. Seuss is a genius
