I have beaten my way through the hordes of monsters on Ascension Peak and placed the three components in their respective places. I can see the Dark Savant just behind a fallen wall. So now what? Where do I go? I can't see any paths to the central part of the map and I don't really feel like spending another twelve hours beating my way back through all of the paths to check for missed junctions.

From the central statues, go back through the green door to where you fought the Rapax army. Keep the cliffs on your right and follow them around until you cross a small stream. After that, stay to the cliffs on your left and follow them. That will take you to the Cosmic Circle portal.
