locked door in irenicus dungeon (spoiler but yu probably know)

i starting again and ive come across something unusual in this dungoen ive never noticed before. Ive just killed the duargars (i think thats how you spell it) and fought that think in a cage, but on the way back i noticed a door i cant open. I tried picking it but it says theres a slot for an artifact in the floor. has anyone else seen this? any help? oh also does anyone know anything else good to do this this dungoen while im here?

In the room beside the portal room you'll find a little statue. That's what opens the door. You get a nice big sword.

hey you need help on the unseeing eye quest huh? how much of it have you done so far? all you have to do is attack the guy in the sewers and the unseeing eye bolder will apear. kill that and you finish the quest and return to the temple of helm. If that is what you are refereing to tell me and ill post in your box.

Hmm... well... I'm trying to get part of the rift device. To do that I have to beat this thing that doesn't die. Ever. It's always "Near Death" and taking damage - but never dies. The little rotting men outside say it can't die... and some of them say it doesn't exist.
