I'm trying to enable the CLUA cheat, you know the debug mode=1 one. However I can't seem to find the fabled program.ini file I need to alter. I installed bg2 using the proposed string, therefore I open Crogram files\black isle\BGII-SoA, but I can't seem to find it, in any of the files there. I know I'm being really dim, but if anyone could help me I'd be very grateful.
p.s. I'm trying to remove the xpcap, in case you know a better/easier way. |

If you are running windows, there is a feature that prevents certain critical file types from being listed (and therefore messed with.) You can see these files by going to the "View" menu, selecting "Folder Options," Pick the "View" tab, and select "Show all Files" under "Hidden Files." (This may or may not be 100% accurate -- I'm going off my windows 98 system.) Be careful if you don't know what you are doing -- it isn't hard, but it is easy to mess up windows type programs.

Go into find and type in program.ini
It worked for me and I cant remember what its called buy you have to put the debug script at the bottom of the first LONG list. Good look and post agin if this doesnt work and i'll get you the address. MTM ------------------ IGNORANCE IS BLISS |

Aurican is correct. program.ini does not exist. it is baldur.ini.

You add the line "Debug Mode = 1" under "Program Option" in the file Baldur.ini, the file should appear next to Baldur.exe when you look at them in Windows Explorer.

That worked. Always helps to know the correct name of the file I think. Right then, onwards and upwards.
