I have had a chronic problem with BGII freezing up at a certain point. I purchased the full version, so i don't have some hacked copy. The game won't let me completly rest. When i try and sleep the game plays the dream where Imoen turns into Bahl and kills everybody, then i turn into bahl and kill all my enemies. As soon as i wake up the game freezes. I have done a whole uninstall and reinstalled it to no avail. I have found that it is a difficult game to play if your characters cant rest. If anyone can give me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
