In the Daedric temple underneath the Vivec Foreign Quarter my character was hit by a 20-point Agility drain spell of some kind. This has come as a right annoyance, as the stat has only just been raised to that perfect 100 we all dream about. The problem is, I can't seem to restore the attribute.
I've tried potions, and I've tried praying at the Imperial Altar, but nothing works, and the stat is still down 20 points. I thought perhaps the potion wasn't strong enough, or being a lay member wasn't sufficiently high a level to warrant that strength of attention. So what can I try next? Possibly a restore spell for that stat? I'm not clear what kind of spell this was either, as I thought drain and absorb spells were temporary. Some kinds of undead have the ability to affect stats in this manner (like wretched Bonewalkers) but this was cast by some ****ing orcish wizard. Fact of the matter is, that my Willpower of 100 and natural immunity as a Breton doesn't really seem to make much difference when it really counts. ![]() Edit: I've tried the Restore Agility spell, and it has no effect. The stat is listed in red, which makes me assume that I can restore it. Is the stat permanently lowered, and only level/skill gain will raise it? go to the woman in balmora who sells potion and buy about 5 or even 10 of her best quality restore agility potions then keep using them, its a roll each time and if you were hit with something nasty may take a few and a bit of luck to remove it, keep trying till its gone, i had it where 5 of my abilities were lowered (before i knew that happened in the game ) when i realised what it meant i had to take 20 odd potions to restore it all.

Or make a few donations in a temple... maybe it's some kind curse... dunno. I've never heard of this though, i've faced nothing that wasn't cured with a potion so far.

I was thinking that the 'Almsivi Restoration' blessing that you can receive at shrines casts 100-point restoration on all of your stats. It then occurred to me that the quality potion restores 15 points and the stat drain was for 20. Maybe you have to equal or exceed the amount in one go?
Don't know, but normally I use a combination of potions which tends to sort the problem out. I haven't been hit by a drain that can't be rectified in this manner. In fact, this is the first time I've gone to a temple (of either denomination) to effect a recovery. Still didn't work though. ![]() It might just be a bug, as I have disappearing/reappearing people turn up - as it were - from time to time. Not sure what that is about, but it appears randomly.
