Strategies for taking on Camona Tang?

Pretty new to the game, just started a new character as I made some bad choices for skills, etc. with my earlier ones.

Current is a level 9 'adventurer', strong inherent magic, but so far developed more as a fighter.

Last time, I was able to bribe the theif woman to fork over the code book the fighter's guild wants, this time she won't because I'm also a member of the theives guild. No amount of bribery or flattery will get me there: she complains that the guild needs it to fight the Camona Tang.

Meanwhile, have got the word from the Imperial league guy to take out the Camonas. Though I've killed the guy at the top of the stairs a couple of times, the group in the bar room is WAY too tough.

Is it just to early, is there a trick to it, or do I need to find a different way round the whold issue? Can't advance in the fighters without the book, can't get the book without either killing Camona or thieves guild...

Oh, and heres a REALLY DUMB question, but what does the 'IIrc' I see on this board do much mean?

well...you could just taunt the commona tong into attacking you...individually...much easier fight. and if your a theif guild member.....just sneak up behind her and pickpocket the dang thing.

Or if you can't pick the book, wait with that quest and go to the fighters guilds in the other towns and get some new quests.

from what I read, the tong group in there are about level 9 also. best IMO is to summon a bunch of skeletons or whatever to help even the odds. and yes taunt so that yoo won't get a bounty but that can be cleared by that imperial champion.

About the code, next time join ALL the three guilds before doing any quests for either one. Or just steal the book. or if you're desperate, isn't there a cheat code for that? not sure myself.

If I Remember Correctly {iirc}, take out the guy upstairs first. Then take out the one in the basement. With the basement clear, you can use the dorways as a choke on the tree remaining attackers and kill them one at a time (with luck).

Oh, blow over that book quest, not needed. There are other quests to do.
