Final fanatsy 8 without a doubt. Its gameplay was awesome, the graphics good for its time (the FMVs or whatever they are called were definately stunning)and the storyline was gripping. I thought it was ace how there were also a lot of subquests that were completely optional and took place in places where the plot sometimes never even touched on. The newer final fanatsies have gotten more linear since 8 I reckon. Squall is an awesome main character also :, and it took me like 150 hours or something to get everything.
