Mac tech issue

Okay. I just reinstalled the game w/ the recommended install, and every time I try to run BG2, it crashes with either a type 2 or type 3 error, depending on what mood it's in.
I have already checked for any extensions conflicts, and updated any necessecary components such as OpenGL, Quicktime, and Gamesproket, and have tried using OS 9 ALL, OS9 BASE, and extensions off.
After this didn't work, I rebooted, zapped PRAM, rebuilt desktop, ran Norton Disk doctor, and still no luck.
I then reinstalled OS 9.04, all the plugins mentioned above, and the game... Nothing. Then I checked for issues w/ the resource fork on the file w/ ResEdit, and found nothing amiss. The game WILL function, when I boot into OS X.1 on my other partition.
However, running the game thru X is an issue b/c of firewall conflicts w/ multiplayer, and I don't feel like running a shell script to reconfigure IP chains every time I want to switch b/n running the game, and normal use.

My system is a G4 450 AGP, 1 GB RAM, and a 16mb ATI RAGE pro graphics card, dual booted b/n 0S 9 on a HFS+ volume, and OS 10.1 on a UFS volume. The game is installed on the HFS+ partition.

Just trust me on this one. Try reinstalling it with a Minimum Install.

I had the game on a minimum install before, but apparently there are compatability issues w/ the TDD expansion if one hasn't done a full install.
