I am not great with computers. I just installed Windows XP to my computer and it has slowed down my game and the mouse movement is choppy. My CPU speed is 600 and I have 384 mgs of ram.

Did you do an upgrade install from a previous OS or a clean install? Either way I think XP likes to have more RAM than you have.

I did an upgrade of my system. Before I upgraded I had 128 mgs added 256. How much more should I add?
Thanks |

You should ask this on GenCon, all the MCSEs and such hang out there. But AFAIK Xp wants a least 512 before it works at its best. Also a clean install works better than an upgrade, just on general principles.
