I have been thinking about starting a multi-player from scratch in TOTSC and then carry all the characters into SoA, but due to the new characters in SoA........ What would be the best party members to create in TOTSC so I can later bring them into SoA???

Great Idea.
Do characters that are still effective in SoA, such as fighters and mages Those mixes will be nice maybe a nice 2 warrior and 3 mage combo, with a buit up archer from SoA ready for import. That would be very effective
