Disco-nect

Well, I'm suffering, and since I am, I see no reason why many others shouldn't share my pain.

Let me tell you a story:

*NB: this will only really affect those who use Dial Up, don't use auto disconnect, and are familiar with the U2 song 'Discotheque' - I wonder how many of us there really are?

Basically, a few months ago I happened to be hitting the disconnect button after closing my browser when my brain just sang 'disco-nect' to the melody of 'discotheque' in aforementioned U2 song...

Now EVERY TIME I hit dissconnect I hear/sing disco-nect! Bloody annoying, but I hope, like asking you not to think of elephants, I have afflicted many others, thereby sharing some of the'love' around.

On a more On Topic note, I also get songs in my head somethings if I think of something that a song fits with. Sometimes when I think I need to send an e-mail, the BeeGees pop in my head "I just gotta get a message to you"

And I used to take the subway to work years back, and the song "Nonstop to Nowhere" by Faster Pussycat would pop in my head. I could go on and on

Fortunately Leonis, I've been able to forget every U2 song for the last decade.
In the same vein of getting a song cross wired in your brain; I work in a (plant) nursery. For a joke I changed the theme song of "Animaniacs" to fit a tropical plant called an aglanema. Now every time I talk with a customer I tell them it is an aglanemiac. That plant is "crazy to the max."
