I've tried to play online games for some time now, but it seems to fail every time I try. I know that there's a Firewall in my ADSL router, so that may be the problem, but how can I change the settings so that I CAN play online games. Help!! My social gaming life is being ruined!

What kind of router do you have? If its a linksys, there was a thread by Ziroc a while back that covered configuring them.
There will be some software that came with it, this will allow you to configure it. You can usualy find the ports you need to open in the games readme. Alternatively there may be a HTTP or telnet interface built into the router. Check your manual.
