An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into a beautiful princess". The engineer bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket.

The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week." The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.

The frog then cried out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I'll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want." Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket.

Finally, the frog asked, "What is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess that I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won't you kiss me?"

The engineer said, "Look I'm an engineer. I don't have time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog, now that's cool."

Engineers have humor???

Good joke actually, but working in a firm with 20 something engineers (both male and female), I can honestly say they have no sense of humor!

That is not true. I was an engineer before I decided to kiss that frog. Mind you that "beautiful princess" is a matter of opinion and she obviously over exaggerated about her apperance by a large margin.
Computer Engineering which is basically a mixture of Software Engineering (i.e. bollocks engineering - how to design software etc.) and electronic engineering - circuit design, simulation and testing as well as loads of other stuff like Networking, Engineering maths, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Controller Design, Computer Architecture, Operating System design etc. etc.

If anyone thinks Engineers is a humorless profession (obviously not according to Vaskez) you should try Librarians, I'm studýing it and WOW... I can't tell you how many times I've tried to make a joke or lighten the atmosphere and only recieved scornfull looks...

Oh by the way, pickup line for librarians...

"So, have you cataloged any good books lately..."
