Anyone here tried beta? I know Turbine have a hand in it but still, I am optimistic. They call it a WoW alternative. If you have tried it, do tell us what you thought. It ships in about 2 months. I am always looking for something new, maybe this could be it after multiple false starts.

I tried it in beta, up to lvl 12. At the time it was a bit laggy but that is to be expected. Its a lot like WoW yes. If you like crafting items I have to say it beats WoW hands down on that. I didnt get far in that but what I did make I liked. Protection scrolls etc. Stuff that is useful right away. Also I really liked a feature of the noob level "main quest". The town had a bandit problem, eventually the bandits attack/burn the town, which becomes your own personal instance, for you alone. And when your done the previously attacked/burned town stays that way, damaged etc. It seemed like a decent alternative to WoW I really dont have anything bad to say about it. Also it comes with its own voice chat, it worked fine the couple times I used it.

Anyone know how good computer you need for LOTR online? Thinking of start to play once it hit the shelfs but my computer is a few years old.

How is the game with your computer?
How low can you turn the graphic in the game(I always play at the lowest anyway)?
