Might and Magic VI Memory Crystals

My memory crystals won't go on the alters....I had collected one and it went on an alter just fine..then,I went and collected two more, but I can't place them on the little silver circular spot on the alter....

I tried clicking the alter with the crystals in my inventory....I tried having my character place them on the alter, but they just sit there, or fall to the floor.............duh...what do I do now.......thanks

Try pressing your spacebar on the altar.

And make sure you have the right crystal on the right altar. For some reason, I think it matters...

As I recall the crystals had to be placed in a given order.
