Depends. If I have to use winblows music streams with winamp and videos in windows mediaplayer. Otherwise I use XMMS for streams and music and mplayer for movies.
Blah quicktime, I hate that start center you can't close and randomly appears again if you keep deleting it from the registry. |

Music exclusively with winamp, video streams/files/dvds with WMP, PowerDVD, Realplayer, Quicktime or BSPlayer, depending on the format and the position of the zodiac of that day.

Winamp is much better for playing music. Also you get the added boost that it uses up much less RAM. However I do find Media player to be more userfriendly, although I use winamp more.
