Is this a bug (Prot. from Evil stacks)??

I noticed that my AC got better from each Protection from Evil casting I did. I don't think they're supposed to stack like that, but they do!

Is this a bug?

Is the spell coming from the same source?

(That is, are you having a priest, paladin, or wizard casting it over and over again? or do you have 1 from all 3 sources?)

Because I heard that the Prot. From Evils would stack if they came from different sources, but this was in IWD, not BG1, but maybe the same rule of thumb might apply?

(Just thinking out loud ¬_¬)

it probably shouldn't stack, or else the bonuses that you can get from it are enormous. You could make yourself make a save verse basically any spell and hit on basically every swing if it stacks, which I'm sure wasn't meant to happen.

Well, after playing the Which Is More Likely game, it's my diagnosis that it's an oversight on the fixpackmakers' part. Of course, that's just my opinion.

I don't know the spells actual code name, so I will simply refer to it as "x". Use Near Infinity to edit the spell so that it applies the effect "protection from spell 'x'"; this will prevent the spell from stacking with itself.
